Denbigh  - local market town with a small range of shops but a large amount of local history.  It has it's own castle and the most listed buildings of any town in Wales.

Will host the National Eisteddfod in 2013.

Offa's Dyke Path - built by Offa, King of Mercia from 757 to 796 A.D., runs from Sedbury, near Chepstow to Prestatyn and offers extensive opportunity for walking, photography, bird watching and enjoying the views

 

Llangollen - famous for the Eisteddfod, the steam railway and excellent fishing

Chester - a walled city which dates back to Roman times. Famous for Horse Racing and has many shopping opportunities.

Ruthin - has a castle, a range of shops, a cattle market and a town gaol with a very interesting history.

Bodelwyddan Castle - an historic house and museum, has Summer Concerts; Shire Horse Show; Car Events; Theatre Productions; Ghost watch Events and lots more throughout the year.
